I found myself with some time on my hands the other day so I started to learn a bit more about the geography of the route we would be taking. I think that the furthest South anyone in the group has been is Morocco, which is the first African country we hit after the ferry from Gibraltar.
After Morocco it’s all new territory for us, and I know I’m really looking forward to Western Sahara – A territory rather than a country, it is one of the most sparsly populated places on the planet. Not the best place to get a flat tyre.
More updates on the cars soon. Please donate to Actionaid using the big red button on the right of this page if you haven’t done so already!
Welcome, to the official website of Team “Bangers and Cash” . 5 guys, 2 cars, 3700 miles and 1 very worthy cause.

We will be raising money for Actionaid by taking part in the Plymouth to Banjul rally. The rules are simple:
I feel it’s important to point out that ALL of the sponsorship money raised goes directly to Actionaid. The cost of the cars, equipment, fuel, etc will be covered by the team.
We need your support, so please donate generously and if you feel you can help in any other way then please get in touch.
Thank you!
